The EFL University Press
The EFL University Press was established in 1977 with the mandate to publish and disseminate the scholarly works and teaching materials produced by the institution. Over the decades, it has grown into an integral part of the University's academic identity, with a catalogue that spans research monographs, edited volumes, and audio and print materials for learners of English and the foreign languages taught at the University. This body of publications stands as a testament to the sustained intellectual output of the faculty.
The Press operates as part of the Publications Unit and is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure that places it at the forefront of academic publishing in the country. Its printing capabilities include Heidelberg and Dominant offset machines for high-accuracy multi-color printing, as well as advanced Xerox and Epson digital printing systems capable of producing high-resolution colour output. The Pre-Press facility features the Heidelberg Suprasetter, a Thermal Computer-to-Plate system that represents a significant technological achievement and is among the few of its kind in the printing industry. The Press further maintains a comprehensive finishing and binding unit, encompassing computerised folding, perfect binding, lamination, perforation, precision cutting, and wire stitching.
