This work would result in a detailed documentation of these languages in terms of their grammar and the socio-economic factors that have resulted in their endangerment. The grammar would be an ethno-linguistic study, which would document not only the structure of the languages but also the oral traditions of the community as well as their indigenous knowledge systems. The multi-lingual dictionary produced would be a rich source of knowledge on the world view of these communities. It would also make a contribution to existing theories on the structure of languages and in the field of variationist sociolinguistics and language endangerment.
