Responsibilities of the Department
Examine literatures of the global south and develop an alternative
to the western models of comparative literary studies
Develop a tri-continental comparative literary model
comprising literatures from South Asia, Africa and Latin America due to an innovative paradigm shift
Promote research and teaching in comparative studies and related areas
Publish research articles and books
Networking with other universities in India and abroad
