- Dr. Didla Grace Suneetha is an Associate Professor in the Department of Phonetics and Spoken English at EFLU, Hyderabad. She did her postgraduation in English Language and Literature from Madras Christian College, after which, she did PGDTE, M.Phil. and Ph.D. (Linguistics and Phonetics) from EFLU. Thereafter, she pursued POST DOC in Forensic Phonetics from the University of Florida, USA. She also holds a Diploma in Criminal Justice and Forensic Science from the University of Hyderabad, India. Dr. Suneetha offers courses in Articulatory, Acoustic and Auditory Phonetics. In addition, she has introduced two new applied areas of research at the University: Forensic phonetics and Clinical Phonetics. Apart from the regular courses offered by the department, she offers courses such as: ‘Fundamentals of Forensic Phonetics’, ‘Phonetic Bases of Speaker Identification’, ‘Similar sounding voices’, and ‘Sounds of World’s Languages.’ Dr. Suneetha has presented many research papers at national and international conferences. She has delivered Plenary talks at JNU, IIT (Patna), AMU, OU, CURAJ, EFLU, to name a few; and has been a resource person at various UGC Refresher courses. She has also guided several M.Phil. and Ph.D. scholars in the areas of clinical and Forensic Phonetics.
