EMRC has produced more than 4000 educational programs covering diverse fields such as English Language, Literature, Science and Technology, Social Sciences, Arts, Culture, Heritage, Humanity, Economics, Sports, Health, Medicine, Education, Psychology, Home Science, Law, B.Ed. (English), and Foreign Languages.
To date, the Centre has developed and offered 91 MOOCs. These courses are available on the SWAYAM portal, offered biannually (Jan-June and July-Dec), ensuring continuous learning opportunities.
EMRC's DTH Channel - VAGEESH (Channel-01) is ranked No. 2 among the 10 CEC Channels in terms of viewership. It boasts a repository of 2200 language programs, with three daily telecasts of eight hours of fresh content.
EMRC has received 27 National Awards for Best Audio-Video (TV) Productions at the Annual UGC-CEC Film Festivals, showcasing our excellence
in educational content creation.
2017 Awards: The Centre won the Best Programme award for the film 'Story Telling' and received a citation for the program 'The Sacred Filament - Ahimsa Silk.'
2023 Awards: The Centre was honoured with the Best MOOCs Award for the film 'Dialogue – I.'
