- Dr V Rajunayak, Associate Professor at EFLU holds an M.A in English from CIEFL, M. Phil and Ph.D. from the English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad, India. His doctoral thesis is on “Oral Narratives of the Lambada Tribes from Telangana”. He recently completed his postdoctoral study from University of California Berkeley, USA. He is an International Affiliated member at University of Montreal, Canada. He completed an ICSSR-sponsored major research project on Lambada Bhat oral narratives. He edited a book titled Margins, Marginality, and Marginalisation: Alternative Ambedkarite Perspectives.Dr Rajunayak developed several courses on India’s marginal communities. He has published articles on Telangana Bhat artisans, tribal literature, and issues such as development and displacement that impact the lives of tribal communities. He is also a BOS member of Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh.

- Dr. Rajunayak is interested in tribal, marginal, and oral literature. He is curious to work on oral literature to bring out the worldviews of the tribal communities to create an epistemology of their own from within. He is also working in the field of Indigenous American Literature as well as Australian Aboriginal Literature. He is also interested in a new area of study: law and literature and its role in society. Through this, Dr. Nayak tries to draw relationships between law and literature.
