- Dr Shyam Babu is an Associate Professor since June 2022 at the Regional Campus, EFL University, Lucknow. Erstwhile, he taught at the Department of Indian and World Literatures, EFL U Hyderabad (4th June 2010-18 November 2018). His areas of interest are- Theatre and Performance studies, Dalit Literatures, Subaltern studies, Indian Writings in English, Literary theory and Criticism among others. He has published one book “Brechtian Theory in the Poetics and Plays of Habib Tanvir and Girish Karnad. 2020. He has published about a dozen of papers concerning gender, caste, identity, nation and performance in the journals of national and international repute. Currently, he is working on project on the conflicts of nation and caste. He can be reached at shyambabueflu@gmail.com
