For candidates who have qualified at the national level test conducted by the UGC. Rs.16000/- per month and a contingency grant of Rs. 10,000/- per year. HRA as per University rules, if living outside the campus.

Candidates who have been awarded UGC Junior research fellowship for two years may be considered for the award of UGC Senior Research fellowships after a review. Rs. 18000/- per month and a Contingency Grant of Rs. 20,500/- per year.

All research participants who are not in receipt of any other fellowship/scholarship will be given fellowships as follows: Ph.D Rs. 5000/-month for 3 years, extendable by one year. Contingency Grant Rs. 8000/- per annum

Granted by the UGC and limited in number

Awarded by the UGC on application and subject to satisfactory attendance and progress in studies. Rs. 2000/- per month for 20 months
