This page describes the information collected by the English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad, India (“EFL University,” “we,” “us” or “our”) through the Mobile App EnglishPro, and how we use that information.

EnglishPro, a free Mobile App from EFL University, is designed for anybody who has had five years of formal instruction in English. It is designed solely for educational purposes and its content is purely educational in nature. The App works in a closed environment that does not require, or allow free access to the Internet.

During the registration process, we require you to furnish certain personally identifiable information, including name, age, email id, mobile number, profession and city. We do not share this information with anyone.

The personal information that we collect is used primarily for providing and improving the content and features of EnglishPro – for modifying its learning materials, and to ensure better learning experience for all users. The demographic details may be used to generate user statistics.

All personal information we collect will be retained by us for a short duration and will be deleted periodically. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. For users under the age of 13, we require only a username and age. Other details sought on the profile should be completed using the parent’s/ guardian’s/ carer’s name, email id, profession, and city of residence.

When a user is identified as a child, we will contact the email id provided for consent for use of data received. Until we receive the consent, no personal information will be sent from the App to our servers.

If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us so that we will delete all personal information from our servers.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
